The Warranty Group, a provider of consumer protection products and outsourced customer services, has announced an agreement with ProHome International to offer two new residential warranty programs.
The first is a four-year warranty for newly constructed homes and the second is a one-year warranty for existing homes. The ProHome Home protection plans will be offered in 28 states through ProHome’s local offices. The four-year plan becomes effective on the one year anniversary of closing and provides coverage through year five.
The one-year plan begins 30 days after the purchase date and covers all existing homes, regardless of age, for a period of one year. Both plans cover single family and multi-family dwellings and offer comprehensive coverage on appliances, systems and even heating and air conditioning.
