The Standard, a provider of insurance and retirement plans, has opened a new retirement plans office in Kansas City.
The company has appointed Jon Ogren to serve as pension consultant in the Kansas City office. Mr Ogren will serve a territory that includes the states of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa.
Mr Ogren has worked to improve plan effectiveness in defined benefit plans and most types of defined contribution plans including 401(k), 403(b) and 457 plans. Most recently, he was the retirement plan specialist for the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.
