The Hartford Financial Services Group has unveiled its new 96,733-square-foot operations center for nearly 600 employees. The insurance provider said the center, located in Maple Grove, Minnesota, will enable it to keep pace with its rapidly growing individual life insurance business.
The facility, which is already operational, handles underwriting, policy administration and processing, human resources, legal, information technology, and sales and marketing for The Hartford’s Middle America business. Employees moved to the new facility from The Hartford’s offices in Plymouth, Minnesota, which will continue to house employees who support some IT and project management functions.
We decided to open our new Maple Grove facility to accommodate the continued growth of The Hartford’s individual life insurance business, Hartford Life president and COO Tom Marra said. Our operations center has contributed to that growth, and we see even better days ahead.
Maple Grove, with its proximity to the Twin Cities, the availability of a skilled and educated workforce, and a business-friendly environment, is a great choice for our new operations center, Marra added.
