Mitchell International, a provider of information, workflow and performance management solutions to P&C and claims and collision repair industries, said that The Beacon Mutual Insurance Company has selected SmartAdvisor as the company's medical bill review platform.
Under the terms of agreement, The Beacon Mutual will utilize Mitchell’s SmartAdvisor service center for medical bill review services and also its claims examiner portal, smartbill, smartpay and integrated utilization management technology.
SmartAdvisor is a bill review solution for workers’ compensation. Its capabilities include customizable workflow modeling, capstone business decision rules engine, smartreports data analytics and reporting tools, claims examiner portal for fast, secured, real-time access to bill data, and a technology platform that delivers on average 50-70% straight-through processing for enhanced efficiencies and lower costs.
In addition, SmartAdvisor provides same capabilities and benefits to auto and general liability markets and is ideal for servicing all bodily injury lines in a single platform.
