The Hartford Financial Services Group, an insurance and financial services company, has appointed David Collins to lead marketing and communications in the Wealth Management business.
In his new role, Collins will be responsible for raising the profile of all of the activities taking place within the Wealth Management unit.
Collins joins The Hartford as a vice president. Previously he worked at Thomson Reuters, where he was a TV producer in charge of covering the wealth management industry.
Prior to Reuters, Collins worked for 20 years in Japan in several different financial services companies, most recently at State Street Global Advisors, where he was head of the exchange-traded fund business.
