India-based Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has released a new application named ‘TCS Insurance QuickPass’ that enables insured drivers to store their insurance card and other information on their smartphones.

Apart from removing the need of printing insurance cards, the app also reduces the risk of losing valuable information.

The app enables drivers to maintain a digital wallet to store photos and review policy details anywhere, anytime.

TCS president of insurance and healthcare at Suresh Muthuswami said, "Insurers are seeking to be easy to work with and are looking for innovation to help them with this transformation to increased customer centricity."

The new app offers a one-touch calling to talk to the insurance company executive, a calendar option to track events related to the insurance, and access to the insurer’s homepage, anywhere, anytime.
