Global consulting firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has launched a new Android device ready version of its TCS Digital Insurance Agent platform that allows insurance agents and brokers to perform sales in real-time.
Designed to use traditional tablet features, including camera, voice recorder and location services for agent business transactions, the new app offers immediate customer service, and keeps them informed and connected while on the go.
Available as a native iPad app and Hybrid app for iPad and Android based tablets, the TCS Digital Insurance Agent technology can be used for prospecting, lead management, sales projection, measuring of sales results and showcasing product capabilities.
The company said that its new Hybrid version supports multi-language, enhanced encryption for device data storage and ease of transition from the mobile app to deployment on a laptop or desktop.
TCS insurance and healthcare president Suresh Muthuswami said, "We see this tool as a real game-changer that will transform the way agents do their jobs while delivering a great customer experience."
The new mobile application will also enable agents to streamline their business by offering efficiencies, improved customer interactions, and allowing agents to conduct business from any location, claims TCS.
