TapcoUnderwriters, an Excess and Surplus (E&S) lines managing general agent (MGA), has selected Vertafore's PolicyIssuance solution, to streamline its policy processing.
Vertafore said that the PolicyIssuance solution will be integrated into proprietary management system of Tapco to increase the productivity in issuing the policies.
The agreement also includes licensing rights for CRC Insurance and Southern Cross Underwriters.
According to the Vertafore, the PolicyIssuance solution provides complete, accurate and current information directly from the MGA’s management system to the excess and surplus carrier policy forms.
Tapco director of information systems Joe Gianzanti said Vertafore’s web-based PolicyIssuance solution allowed Tapco to easily establish integration with the custom-designed agency management system, eliminating keystrokes and streamlining the policy processing.
Tapco vice president Bill Pinson said PolicyIssuance provides major efficiency improvements for Tapco’s business, the solution also allows for electronic data transfers of policy data to the E&S carriers and London markets – a significant value-addition for the business.
