Symbility Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of a software company Automated Benefits, has finalized the multi-year deal with the California-based Farmers Insurance Exchange, part of Farmers Insurance Group.

Farmers is provider of automobile and homeowners insurance in the US with more than 15 million customers served by 24,000 employees across 41 states.

The first phase of Symbility’s software implementation for Farmers’ Specialty Division is scheduled for completion in late November 2010.

It includes training and deploying Symbility applications to more than 600 field adjusters located across the US in addition to staff and inside adjusting teams in the Specialty Division’s Grand Rapids, Michigan head office.

According to the Symbility, the rollout of the Symbility platform consisted of multiple software enhancements covering three major releases over the past four months.

Farmers expects to realize efficiency and productivity gains to their claim process, reduction of cycle times and improvements to the policyholder experience as a result of enhancements.
