Symbility Solutions announced that the Belgian-based multi-line insurer Argenta Assuranties has signed a new contract to integrate Symbility's Video Connect and Desk Adjuster into its organization through Symbility's European partner Van Ameyde.

Symbility Desk Adjuster, an extension of Symbility’s core claims processing platform Claims Connect and a powerful web-based tool designed to handle new loss and estimating capabilities for inside staff adjusters, and Symbility Video Connect, a live video collaboration tool, will be integrated in Van Ameyde’s international claims management system ECHO.

By engaging Symbility Video Connect, inside adjusters can view and visually document property damage from their desk without having to do a site visit.

Through a simple phone call to the property owner or field adjuster’s mobile device, the inside adjuster can gain quick access to the damaged property and, based on the exchange of live footage, create detailed diagrams of the damage directly in Desk Adjuster.

Customers can report the loss by using their mobile device to gain access to Van Ameyde’s web application.

"Using the tool, linked to an extensive database containing cost estimates, including materials and fees, we can immediately assess the damage and settle the claim. Our customers no longer need to arrange for specifications and offers. Our system has a negligible margin of error, meaning that in the vast majority of the cases the settlement is correct," says Edmond Es of Argenta Assuranties.

Frank Verschuur of Van Ameyde adds, "The precision at which claims reserves are calculated and increased policyholder satisfaction thanks to fast-track settlement are the platform’s greatest benefits. We are continuously striving to improve customer experience and decrease claims costs on behalf of insurance providers. Symbility’s applications are the perfect tools to help us achieve these goals."

"Symbility is committed to ensuring that the products and services we deliver offer convenience and self-service capabilities for the policyholders and Video Connect is testament to this promise," commented James Swayze, CEO, Symbility Solutions.
