Swiss Re Corporate Solutions expands its marine business by opening a North America marine office. Starting 1 October 2015, the New York-based team will provide ocean cargo insurance, with additional products to follow.
Robert Solitro, Head Special Lines North America, says: "Our new team enhances our offering to North American clients by providing primary, following and excess ocean cargo – transit, stock throughput, and project cargo. Graeme Schultz, who has over 18 years of industry experience, has been appointed Head Marine North America. The new marine team will support regional North American clients and enable Swiss Re Corporate Solutions to better serve midsized-to-large manufacturers, importers, exporters, and logistics providers, among others.
