Swett & Crawford, a US-based independent wholesale broker, has expanded its casualty staff in New York and appointed Ricky Dawson as casualty broker.
Dawson, who has a background in both insurance wholesale brokerage and underwriting, will be based in New York and reports to sales leader Eddie Williams.
He was a wholesale broker with Combined Marketing Services for the past five years,
Previously, Dawson was an underwriter at AutoOne Insurance for new business, endorsements, filings, renewals, SIU referrals and responses for LAD and CLAD states and also senior team leader for SIU procedures.
Swett & Crawford has specialty expertise in insurance fields including agriculture, energy, transportation, construction, professional liability, and entertainment.
