Stewart Title Guaranty, a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Information Services, has appointed Jim Czapiga as new vice president, Connecticut and Rhode Island agency services manager.
Czapiga has 15 years of experience in the title insurance industry and agency services arena.
He will join Stewart from another major underwriter, where he served over the course of his career as Connecticut commercial agency sales manager, Connecticut state manager, and ultimately Connecticut and Rhode Island region manager.
Stewart Title Guaranty Agency Services Group executive vice president George Houghton said Czapiga will be integral for Stewart as the company expand Connecticut and Rhode Island operations.
“Czapiga’s tenure as agency services manager and vast expertise in both Connecticut and Rhode Island will position Stewart as a major player in the Northeast,” Houghton said.
