Stewart Title Guaranty has said that Piper Sheffield, senior vice president and director for Stewart Relocation Services (SRS), a division of National Title Services, has been named as president of Houston Relocation Professionals (HRP) for 2011.

Sheffield has been involved with HRP for several years, having served on its board of directors since 2006 and as vice president for two terms.

HRP is one of 38 regional organizations designated by the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (ERC) as a Recognized Regional Relocation Group.

The aim of the HRP is to provide a forum for local professionals to exchange information on workforce mobility best practices and participate in industry training opportunities.

Sheffield will join HRP’s executive committee members for 2011 including: Norma Chaney, Heritage Texas Properties, vice president; Larry Matthews, SIRVA / Freeman Moving Group, treasurer; Michelle Sandlin, John Daugherty Realtors, secretary.

Stewart National Title Services executive vice president and director Paul Sands said that Piper has been the driving force behind Stewart’s growth in the relocation industry.

SRS’ respected position among mobility professionals is a direct result of Piper’s vision, extensive knowledge of this specialized market, and her dedication to providing superior service. She contributes those same leadership capabilities to relocation industry organizations such as HRP," Sands said.
