George Ross of Lakes of the Four Seasons, has been elected to serve as 2009-10 president of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Indiana Chapter – reported in Trading Markets.

Mr. Ross was elected in mid-May at the state convention in French Lick, and assumed office on July 1.

Mr. Ross has been with Prudential Financial since 1986. He has served as president of the group’s local Indiana chapter four times. He is the current chairman of Make a Dream program. He has been on the state board as trustee and officer for the past seven years. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Greater Crown Point Chamber of Commerce.

NAIFA, Indiana, has 19 local associations and two main areas of focus. These are advocacy to represent the interests of members and their clients by monitoring and initiating legislation that affects products and services.
