Sovereign Bank, a subsidiary of Banco Santander, and Liberty Mutual Insurance have entered into an alliance to offer Sovereign Bank customers with Liberty Mutual's personal insurance products.

According to the Sovereign Bank, Liberty Mutual will appoint up to 200 Sovereign mortgage development officers to exclusively sell its auto, home, renters and personal liability policies in 721 Sovereign branches across eight states that include Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
