Mississippi-based Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance has implemented Guidewire ClaimCenter as its new claims management system to integrate multiple claims systems and streamline processes for optimum efficiencies and flexibility.

The property and causality insurer has decided to add the ClaimCenter for its personal and commercial automobile lines in the intial stage and expects to gradually implement it to all other lines of business, the US insurer said.

Southern Farm Bureau Casualty technology senior vice president Geoff Mercer said, "Guidewire ClaimCenter will allow us to more easily implement new technologies, handle claims processing more efficiently and quickly, and provide our remote workforce with better tools to do their job."

According to Guidewire, its ClaimCenter will reduce use of multiple legacy claims systems, decrease time and costs needed for maintenance; help modernize claims processing practices on a single system throughout the company as well as trim down claims cycle times to ensure fast and efficient customer service.

Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance offers property and casualty insurance products in six US states including Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and South Carolina.
