Solera Holdings, a provider of software and services to automobile insurance claims processing industry, has named Renato Giger as the new CFO.

Mr Giger’s appointment follows Solera’s decision to conclude Dudley Mendenhall’s employment as CFO.

Previously, Mr Giger served as the global corporate controller of Solera and CFO of EMEA. He has been with Solera since its acquisition of the claims services group from Automated Data Processing in 2006 and worked with predecessor companies for 13 years.

The company said that it has also planned to relocate it headquarters and global executive team from San Diego to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The relocation includes its senior executive team including: Tony Aquila, founder, CEO, president and chairman of board; John Giamatteo, COO; Mr Giger; and Abilio Gonzalez, SVP of corporate global human resources.

In addition, Jason Brady, general counsel and corporate secretary; and Kamal Hamid, VP of investor relations will also move to the new headquarters.

Mr Aquila said: “Renato has successfully taken on increasing responsibility over the past four years and has consistently contributed to Solera’s growth. The relocation of our corporate headquarters to the Dallas-Fort Worth area gives us a broader recruitment pool and better labor arbitrage, cost efficiencies, and improved mobility and access to our markets.”
