By repurchasing and terminating the rights from Audatex Hellas to conduct business
Solera Holdings, a provider of software and services to the automobile insurance claims processing industry, has unveiled its plans to enter the Greek market by repurchasing and terminating the rights to conduct business in that market from Audatex Hellas, an independent licensee.
Solera will conduct business in the 5.4m insured vehicle market through an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary named Informex Hellas.
Informex Hellas will introduce a new, web-based suite of products and services that are designed to allow insurers, assessors and collision repair shops to manage more effectively and accurately claims processing work flow.
Tony Aquila, founder, chairman and CEO of Solera, said: “Our entry into the Greek market by purchasing the rights to conduct business in that market from our independent licensee is consistent with our stated strategic plans of expanding into new geographies and bringing core value-added services to the participants in the automotive claims process.”
