Solartis, a provider of insurance policy administration software and services, has expanded its services to include business process outsourcing (BPO) for insurance companies and their distribution partners.

According to Solartis, the BPO services provides processing activities such as submission data entry and clearance, quote and proposal development, rating and policy data entry and assembly, electronic filing and document distribution.

In addition, the benefits to customers are efficient time for underwriting and customer service, enhanced turn-around time, and around 33% reduction in administrative costs.

The company said that the BPO resources provide efficient insurance administrative and data entry services for insurance companies, program administrators, and managing general agencies. It also integrates with customer operations and existing technologies.

Nick Richardson, president of Solartis, said: “Expanding into Insurance BPO was a natural extension of our automation and consulting work. BPO reduces ongoing administrative costs without changing technology platforms or modifying business processes.

“We have recently doubled our office space and are now in the exciting position to be able to offer Solartis automation, BPO and consulting services to the entire industry.”
