Sirius Group has selected Insurity’s SIMS Claims as well as the Bridge Policy Administration and Bridge Billing offerings from Oceanwide, an Insurity company.

Cloud deployment of the solutions will enable rapid configuration, delivery and production, resulting in business value for Sirius.

A strategic goal for Sirius was the ability to deliver direct insurance products to the market with speed and effectiveness. Sirius turned to Insurity Inc. to help with the challenge of implementing a technology platform able to administer multiple lines of business with unique attributes, including Surety and Environmental business.

The solution also needed the flexibility to support Sirius’ desire to expand into other lines of business without disruption or delay.

Key to Sirius’ decision was the ability to deliver solutions via a cloud deployment; the proven and flexible offerings of the SIMS Claims and Bridge product; and Insurity’s history and expertise in delivering specialty products.

Daniel J. Wilson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sirius America Insurance Company commented, “Our number one goal with this project was to position ourselves to be able to deliver primary insurance products seamlessly for our customers and effectively by our staff. Insurity’s SIMS Claims and the Oceanwide Bridge offerings provide us with the ideal combination of solutions to achieve this.

Lani Cathey, Insurity’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, commented, “We look forward to working side-by-side with the Sirius team as they launch this new business and are thrilled to welcome Sirius as a new Insurity client. The recognition of the value in our strong arsenal of solution offerings available across the Insurity companies is very gratifying.”

Cathey added, “Our experience in specialty lines, including the surety line of business, is certainly one of our core strengths which consistently proves to be a differentiator for us. We look forward to working side-by-side with the Sirius team as they grow their business.”
