UK based cash plan provider Simplyhealth has unveiled a new module in its corporate cash plan to cover private medical insurance excess.

The newly introduced Simply Cash Plan starts from £1 per employee per week for the basic plan under which it provides cover for dental, optical consultations and scans, health screening and complementary therapies.

Effective from 1 April 2012, employers can choose up to five different modules to help support their employees healthcare needs.

Simplyhealth Employer marketing head Howard Hughes said the module will provide increased choice and flexibility for employers, while providing clarity on how Simplyhealth pays private medical insurance excess claims.

Under the plan, the employers can also add employee assistance programme, hospital and accident, new child benefit, managing absence and PMI excess by paying a small additional cost.

Simplyhealth provides private medical insurance, health cash plans, dental plans and a range of self funded health plans.
