Seltzer Group, a member of Keystone Insurers Group, has formed an alliance with Pennsylvania-based St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Hospital to provide medical insurance solutions and occupational health services to businesses in Luzerne, Carbon and Schuylkill Counties, in Pennsylvania.
The firm has said that as a provider of health-related workplace insurance solutions, it was looking for a partner that could fulfill some occupational medical offerings. Since both Seltzer Group and St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Hospital serve many of the same communities, there was a commonality among their goals and services.
Reportedly, St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Hospital will now deliver occupational health and wellness services to the Seltzer Group’s client base through an approach for the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to employees of area businesses.
The hospital provides many health care specialties, including St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Geriatric Center, St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Home Care and eight St. Luke’s Sports & Rehabilitation Centers located throughout its communities.
