Selective Insurance Company of America, a New Jersey-based holding company for seven property and casualty insurance companies has announced new appointments.

The company has promoted Kimberly Burnett to executive vice president, chief human resources officer.

Burnett joined Selective in 1989 and served as Human Resources vice president, Leadership and Professional Development assistant vice president, Employee Relations assistant vice president and manager and Human Resources generalist.

Yanina Hupka, a senior reinsurance accountant has been promoted to senior vice president, Chief Risk & Reinsurance Office.

Prior to the new role, she served as vice president of Reinsurance, ERM manager, and joined Selective in September 2000 as a senior reinsurance accountant.

General Reinsurance Corporation Information Officer senior vice president Pamela Keough has been promoted to IT Control & Enterprise Services senior vice president.

Prior to this, Pamela was senior vice president, Information Officer for General Reinsurance Corporation.

David Colarusso has been appointed as new Director of Safety Management vice president, while Stephen Crosta has been promoted as Assistant General Counsel, Insurance Operations vice president.

Joseph Kristel is named Stonecreek Specialty Underwriters Claims vice president and Michael assistant portfolio manager Baisley is appointed as new assistant vice president for Investments.

Patty Horvath has been promoted to assistant vice president of Line of Business Manager, while David Rosen, a previous underwriter for company’s Northeast Region office has been promoted to assistant Line of Business Manager vice president.

Zhikun Wu, who joined Selective in November 2011, has been appointed as new assistant vice president, Director of Quantitative Risk Management, ERM & Reinsurance.
