SeeChange Health Insurance, a provider of value-based benefit plans to small and mid-sized employers, and United Heritage Life Insurance have agreed to jointly offer group term life insurance policies alongside group medical plans.

The group policies include accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage, waiver of premium, and may be converted to an individual policy.

Commenting on the partnership, SeeChange Health executive vice president Alan Katz said, "This collaboration enables employers using SeeChange Health’s medical plans to improve the health and wellbeing of their workforce to also deliver the added protection of life coverage through a single bill."

Starting from 16 November, United’s group term life product will be offered by SeeChange to new and existing clients.

A guaranteed issue of all life policies will be offered up to $50,000 of coverage, only if the group is enrolled in one of SeeChange Health’s medical plans.

SeeChange provides value-based benefit plans to fully insured employer groups in California and Colorado, while United Heritage Life Insurance offers its products in 38 states and the District of Columbia.
