Scottsdale Insurance Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nationwide, has opened a new office in Eagan, Minnesota.
Scottsdale said that as part of diversification, the new facility specializes in for-hire commercial trucking products and will deliver offering through a limited number of general agency partners across the country.
Scottsdale Insurance president Mike Miller said that associates have been hard at work for months serving customers and creating commercial trucking coverage options to stay current with the changing transportation industry, and to meet customers’ expressed needs.
The new office will be lead by vice president Lou Welch.
Welch said that his team of experienced associates, with expertise in all areas of trucking insurance, will be the catalyst for Scottsdale’s expansion into the commercial trucking arena.
