South Africa-based non-life insurer Santam has selected Guidewire Software PolicyCenter as its new underwriting and policy administration solution.
In addition to Guidewire Rating Management to benefit more precise rating and pricing control and responsiveness, the company selected the reinsurance tool to increasing operational efficiencies as well as Client Data to effectively manage customer contact data.
Santam will use PolicyCenter to ehance underwriting service, improve its productivity in a number of areas, manage its premium rating bases more dynamically as well as increase the ease of doing brokers and policyholder’s business.
Initially, PolicyCenter flexible underwriting and policy administration system will be used by Santam for its personal lines business followed by commercial lines.
