Salem Five Boyle Insurance Services, a unit of Salem Five Bank, has acquired Massachusetts-based Argeros Insurance, expanding its market presence in the region.
Salem Five offers personal, homeowner, auto, life and commercial insurance products and services through its insurance agencies.
As part of Salem Five’s banking offerings, Argeros’ customers will also now benefit from the expanded hours of operation and enhanced commercial insurance capabilities.
Staff members of Argeros Insurance, Katrina Argeros and Donna Cowie will remain with the firm at its home office on Main Street in Reading, Massachusetts.
Salem Five Bank president and CEO Joseph Gibbons said that this acquisition allows Salem Five to further strengthen the relationships with the national carrier partners, including commerce insurance.
