Saffron Insurance, a provider of motor insurance, has merged with Baldock-based Chris Semmens (Commercial) Insurance Broker.
Chris Semmens has been based in the Baldock region for more than 20 years. Following this merger, the Chris Semmens and his team will stay at their current premises in Baldock, which gives Saffron two main centers for commercial insurance in Hertfordshire and Suffolk.
Saffron said its Haverhill based commercial team has recorded a significant growth in the past five years, through mergers, acquisitions and organic growth and has emerged as one of the key commercial brokers in East Anglia.
Now with offices in Essex, Suffolk, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, the insurance broker Saffron has plans to spread further afield during the next twelve months.
