To assist its policyholders in workers’ compensation management, analysis and prevention efforts

Safety National has launched MAP Client Services (Management, Analysis and Prevention), the company’s coordinated approach to injury prevention and claim cost containment services.

The company said that the package is designed to assist its policyholders in workers’ compensation management, analysis and prevention efforts.

According to the company, the MAP Client Services main components include, Safety Essentials Online, an online service that provides resources to assist organisations, including safety and health compliance management, policies, written and training programs, regulatory access and ‘ask the expert’ features. Safety Self-Assessments, an online self-assessment tool helps to evaluate how well an organisation’s workers’ compensation program aligns with industry best practices in terms of managing and controlling the cost of claims.

In addition, the new service also includes Safety Training Source, an alternative to traditional training through an online training and learning management system with tracking available for every employee of every policyholder free of charge. Training includes OSHA compliance topics, defensive driving, safety issues and more.

Treasa Turnbeaugh, client services and risk control manager for Safety National, said: “We believe MAP Client Services is one of the most robust and targeted packages of its kind in the industry. When many providers are cutting programs like this due to economic constraints, Safety National is adding risk control services, many of which are free of charge for our policyholders. We are pleased to offer our customers a service that can directly improve their bottom line during trying times like these.”
