Safety Insurance, a Massachusetts-based provider of property and casualty insurance, has selected Sword Insurance, a provider of web based solution for the insurers, to assist them in developing its mobile portal strategy.
Sword Insurance was selected to help develop a strategy and implement software solutions for Safety for mobile apps and mobile web implementations of First Notice of Loss reporting and agent finder features on both the iPhone and Android platforms, Safety Insurance said.
Safety Insurance has already used Sword for agency interface and comparative rating system integrations.
Sword Insurance VP of research and development Michael Albert said whether carriers are on the AgencyPortal distribution framework or not, the mobile development team can help them build mobile capabilities for their producers, staff, and policy holders alike.
