Insurance company Safeco has appointed Thomas Newgarden as senior vice president of underwriting for Safeco Personal Insurance.
Prior to this, Mr Newgarden was senior vice president and chief underwriting officer of AIG Private Client Group. At Safeco, he will be responsible for the profit-and-loss of personal product lines, including design, pricing and underwriting.
