Global insurer RSA has selected the Accellion Managed File Transfer solution to allow its global workforce to securely share insurance contracts.
Recently, RSA expanded the use of Accellion by adding Accellion Automation to simplify secure sharing of data between business applications.
Accellion claimed that its Secure File Transfer solution enables corporations and government agencies to securely send and receive files and folders up to 50GB.
Encryption and business-level authentication validates recipients so confidential information remains secure while audit trails provide the necessary tracking and reporting to demonstrate compliance.
The solution integrates both on-premise and off-premise deployment options for cloud and virtual environments, which work together.
RSA IS Service delivery manager Paul Corner said that the Accellion solution has been well received across their business areas.
Accellion Europe managing director Paul Steiner said that the Accellion solution helps remove the complexities associated with securely managing information process, ensuring confidential information is not exposed, networks and IT staff are not overburdened, and information is available when needed.
