RSA Insurance Group has appointed Mike Holliday-Williams as new CEO of RSA Scandinavia.
In this role, he will be responsible for RSA’s Scandinavian business, which includes operations in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland and the Codan and Trygg Hansa brands.
The appointment will be effective 1 February 2011 but will be in post from January to ensure an smooth transition from Rickard Gustafson who is leaving to become CEO of SAS Scandinavian airlines.
Holliday-Williams, currently the managing director for RSA’s UK Personal Lines operation, which includes MORE TH>N. He was previously the Managing Director of RSA’s UK Retail business.
RSA International CEO Simon Lee said Mike has the right combination of experience and vision to drive the business forward. He is the right person to take the business to its next stage of development.
