RSA, the UK-based commercial insurer, has appointed Lee Mooney as regional manager for North East.
In his new role, Mooney will be responsible for managing RSA’s trading and sales presence and developing partner relationships in the region.
He will report to Gareth Hilton, regional director, North and begins his new role with immediate effect.
Mooney joined RSA as a casualty underwriter in 1999 and has since held a number of roles within the business, including most recently the position of account director of Strategic Relationships.
Hilton said he will bring significant experience and fresh insight which will enhance the ability to deliver great results in this important area of the UK market.
The RSA transacts business in 24 countries from eight operations across Asia, Middle East and India. It provides insurance solutions for both corporates and individuals including large and complex risks, mid market commercial risks and retail customers.
