RLI, a specialty insurance company, has formed a new Professional Services Group to expand its capabilities within the professional services market.
RLI said that the new group created by a merger of three existing products, will offer a comprehensive portfolio of solutions to serve the growing number of professional services firms and the group will be open to a limited network of current and newly appointed specialty brokers..
According RIL, the Professional Services Group will provide design professionals, technology professionals, and target professionals with a suite of property, casualty and professional liability solutions to protect against a multitude of exposures.
In addition, the group will complement its insurance coverages with risk management and continuing education services.
The insurer has appointed Lenny Waldhauser as vice president to lead new service group. Previously, he served as vice president of the RLI Design Professionals Group.
RLI Insurance president and COO Michael Stone said combining three successful products under one group and enhancing the solutions will enable RLI to differentiate its offerings within this market and better serve customers.
