Specialty insurance firm RLI is set to extend the coverage of its personal umbrella policy for Florida residents by offering a reduced liability attachment point.

According to the provider, Personal umbrella coverage will be made available to customers whose primary residence is in Florida and who have a minimum homeowners liability limit of $100,000.

The amendment is effective immediately for new applicants and will take effect 1November 2012 for current policyholders (renewals).

RLI provides its personal umbrella product through a network of brokers, FAIA/IIABA relationships and partnerships with other insurance companies.
