RLI, a property and casualty insurance firm headquartered in Peoria, Illinois, US, has named two directors to its board, bringing the total number of directors to 11.
The insurer said that its president & chief operating officer Michael Stone and former chief executive of XL Group Insurance Operations David Duclos have been inducted to the board.
Stone working as RLI Insurance president & chief operating officer, is managing the insurance operations of RLI and its subsidiaries.
In 1996, Stone joined RLI from Travelers and assumed the role as vice president, claim and later in 1998, was promoted to executive vice president.
Duclos, who is currently working as a a consultant for XL, is a retired chief executive of XL Group Insurance Operations.
Having more than 32 years of of insurance industry experience, and has hold numerous leadership positions at XL, Kemper Insurance and CIGNA.
RLI manages its insurance subsidiaries including RLI Insurance, Mt Hawley Insurance, RLI Indemnity and Contractors Bonding and Insurance and provides a diversified portfolio of property and casualty coverages and surety bonds services.
