Risk Strategies has acquired Dallas-based McLaughlin Brunson Insurance Agency to enter into the US state of Texas.

McLaughlin Brunson provides professional liability, property and casualty and health insurance services for its customers in Texas and Oklahoma.

The company’s customers include architects, engineers and certified professional accountants.

McLaughlin Brunson will be the new name of the acquired business. It will continue to operate with its current staff under the leadership of two principals Joe Bryant and John Krantz.

The new unit will be provided access to more than 200 commercial lines markets, additional employee benefits capabilities and private client personal line expertise.
