US-based Risk Strategies has acquired professional liability brokerage company Crow Friedman Group, for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition will allow Risk Strategies to expand professional liability brokerage services across the country.

Established in 1996, Crow Friedman serves around 1,800 professional firms, including architects, engineers, healthcare professionals, and financial and environmental consultants.

Risk Strategies CEO and founder Michael Christian said the combination with Crow Friedman comes at a time of tremendous growth for organization.

"Working with the experts at Crow Friedman Group will allow unparalleled access to professional liability expertise, particularly in the area of architects and engineers," Christian added.

The founders of Crow Friedman John Crow and Don Friedman, along with their teams, will work for the company, and do business as Crow Friedman Group, a Risk Strategies company.

Crow Friedman has offices in Memphis and Nashville of Tennessee, Birmingham of Alabama and Lawrenceville of Georgia.

The company underwrites insurance products for architectural, engineering and surveying firms, including workers compensation, commercial automobile, general liability and group life and health employee benefits.
