RFF & Associates, an Alliant company and a construction insurance and surety brokerage firm in the US, has appointed Vincent Walsh as new senior vice president in its New York office.

In his new role, Walsh will be responsible for new business development and account service.

Walsh has over 40 years of experience in the construction and surety marketplace has represented some of the nation’s leading surety companies and reinsurers.

He will join RFF from a major national brokerage firm, where he was senior vice president for its surety and insurance practice. Previous to this, he was secretary/director in the headquarters office of Aetna Casualty & Surety Co (now Travelers).

Alliant Insurance Services, which acquired RFF as part of its recent acquisition of New York City-based T&H Group, a regional insurance brokerage and the parent of RFF

Alliant CEO Tom Corbett said the hiring of Vincent Walsh demonstrates the continuing commitment of the entire Alliant organization to meeting the specialized insurance needs of the construction and surety sector on a national level.

"In fact, one of the key factors in our acquisition of T&H Group was its strong construction practice, including RFF," Corbett said.
