RenaissanceRe Holdings has appointed Peter Durhager, current senior vice president and chief administrative officer (CAO), as new executive vice president. He will report to Neill Currie, CEO, and to serve as chief administrative officer (CAO) and as a member of the RenaissanceRe executive committee.

Mr Durhager had joined RenaissanceRe in 2003 as CAO, and served as president of the company’s global shared services division, with responsibilities including human resources, organizational development, marketing, communications, operations and information technology.

Prior to joining the company, Mr Durhager was co-founder, president and chief operating officer of Promisant, chairman and CEO of Logic Communications, and president and CEO of Millennium International. He is also a director of KeyTech, ASCENDANT Group, and the Centre on Philanthropy.

Neil Currie, said: “Peter has made substantial contributions to RenaissanceRe, leading many of our global integration initiatives and helping ensure that we have a robust, state-of-the-art infrastructure that ably supports our increasingly diverse operations.
