Reich Insurance, UK's independent insurance brokers, has completed the acquisition of Bolton-based D Barnett Insurance Brokers.
Reich Insurance, UK’s independent insurance brokers, has completed the acquisition of Bolton-based D Barnett Insurance Brokers.
According to Reich, the move increases the combined gross premium income of the group close to GBP 70m per annum.
Since 1985, D Barnett Insurance Brokers has been placing insurance business on behalf of commercial and private clients. Currently, it employs 17 people, who will be integrated into the Reich Insurance.
Reich Insurance managing director Simon Taylor said this acquisition will further strengthen the insurance offering and bring increased expertise in commercial and personal insurance lines.
"We are also currently exploring other acquisition opportunities as we continue to look for ways to add value to the business of insurance," Taylor said.
