RACQ Insurance (RACQI), a motor vehicle and household insurance provider, has implemented Guidewire’s technologies for underwriting and policy administration, claims management, and billing.
Guidewire PartnerConnect alliance member, Ernst & Young, worked together with RACQI and installed PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.
The insurer said that it has implemented both platforms at all of its lines of business, in all regions.
Additionally, the company also added ClaimCenter for its motor liability line, expanding on the capabilities previously implemented for its motor and home lines of business.
RACQI CEO Bradley Heath said that there is no doubt that the relationship at the point of contact with a member (customer) is increasingly important when compared to the actual transactional value.
"Being able to provide this high level of service to our members is absolutely critical to our future, and Guidewire technology will help us to do that," Heath added.
PolicyCenter and BillingCenter will enable RACQI to gain a holistic, single source of view of customer data across its billing and policy administration systems to enhance service levels.
Designed to support both commercial and personal lines, PolicyCenter allows insurers to modernize front and back office processes, from new business submission and quoting through policy renewals.
BillingCenter allows underwriters to offer insurance as per the customers’ needs by making it easier to automate the billing lifecycle; design flexible billing, payment and delinquency plans; manage agent commissions; among others.
