PURE Risk Management has announced the expansion of Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE), a member-owned reciprocal insurer, to offer customised property and casualty insurance coverage to responsible owners of high-value homes in Connecticut.

PURE has also received licenses in the US states of Maryland, Georgia, Alabama and the District of Columbia

The company intends to offer cost-effective flexibility by providing customised coverage options without imposing mandatory hurricane deductibles. It has planned to provide savings and help its members (policyholders) develop sound practices to protect their homes and valuable property.

In addition to homeowners insurance, PURE provides automobile, jewelry, art, personal liability and watercraft insurance. In addition to Connecticut, PURE currently serves members in Florida, South Carolina, New York and New Jersey.

Beyond covering repair costs or replacing damaged property, PURE will contribute up to $2,500 to help prevent recurring losses and control the long-term cost of risk, claims the company.
