Prudential Financial has appointed Margaret Foran as vice president, chief governance officer and secretary.
Ms. Foran will be responsible for working with the Board of Directors to continue to strengthen Prudential’s governance principles and practices. She will report to Susan Blount, senior vice president and general counsel at Prudential.
Ms. Foran is a member of the Standing Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and the New York Stock Exchange Stockholder Approval Policy Task Force. She is co-chair of the International Governance Committee of the Council of Institutional Investors. She is also a former director of MONY Group and MONY Life Insurance Company.
