Prudential Financial has appointed Kathryn Sayko as new managing director for its Strategic Solutions Group.

As a new member of Prudential’s institutional client management team, Sayko will be responsible for building and expanding Prudential’s relationships with senior financial management at large corporations.

She will report to Kevin Myers, head of the Strategic Solutions Group, and Phil Waldeck, head of pension risk transfer for Prudential Retirement.

Before Prudential, Sayko held several senior roles during a 16-year tenure at JP Morgan. Most recently, she was a managing director, responsible for providing investment-banking services to clients.

Earlier, she was a vice president, managing debt capital markets transactions, leading financing for acquisitions, originating commercial loans for the utility and energy industries, or working to create efficiencies in technology for the securities trust business.

Prudential Financial is engaged in providing investment management, insurance and other financial services to its customers and retailers and has its operations in US, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
