According to reports in the trade press,, the direct insurer targeting drivers of older vehicles, is set to launch a major marketing campaign.’s parent group, Provident Financial, is plotting a major expansion of the insurance operation, which will be heavily focused on the internet channel. Initially, a range of television commercials will support the site’s offering for drivers of older cars.

However reports suggest that is looking to expand to offer a wider range of motor cover and branch out into home insurance in the future.

We expect that more than 90% of our customers will be coming to us via the internet, with the remainder dealing with us by telephone, the insurer’s head of marketing Paul Purdy told Post Magazine.
