According to reports in the trade press, Yesinsurance.co.uk, the direct insurer targeting drivers of older vehicles, is set to launch a major marketing campaign.

Yesinsurance.co.uk’s parent group, Provident Financial, is plotting a major expansion of the insurance operation, which will be heavily focused on the internet channel. Initially, a range of television commercials will support the site’s offering for drivers of older cars.

However reports suggest that Yesinsurance.co.uk is looking to expand to offer a wider range of motor cover and branch out into home insurance in the future.

We expect that more than 90% of our customers will be coming to us via the internet, with the remainder dealing with us by telephone, the insurer’s head of marketing Paul Purdy told Post Magazine.

Our infrastructure is shaped towards online business and the cost savings that are consequently made are being passed on to the customer in the form of lower prices.
