Progressive Group of Insurance has reported net income of $75.5 million in the month of October 2007, a decrease of 42% compared to the net income of $130.1 million for the same month in 2006.
The total policies in personal auto line for the month were 7.02 million, up 2% as against 6.9 million in October 2006.
In the special lines and commercial auto division, the company has recorded 8% and 7% surge respectively, over the same period a year ago.
