Progressive has launched Pay As You Drive insurance discount programme, a form of insurance also known generically as usage-based insurance for West Virginia drivers.
The car owners can save up to 30% on their car insurance based on their driving habits with just a Snapshot.
The firm provides a device under the Snapshot programme for the drivers, which can fit in the palm of drivers hand and plugs into the on-board diagnostic (OBD) port of the car to record and send driving data to them.
The customers will find if they’re eligible for a discount up to 30% after 30 days based on their driving habits for a six-month policy term.
Additional discounts will be offered for the customers who drive less, in safer ways and during safer times of day.
